Portions for 1 person:
2 thick (1/3") slices of ham
1/2 sweet potato
8 stripes of sushi ginger
1 red apple
1oz raisins "Seedless Thomson"
Cinnamon
Ginger
4 tsp of brown sugar
Boil water in a steamer. First, put the sweet potato sliced in 1/4 inch pieces in the steamer, then the ginger sushi, the apple cut in small cubes and the raisins. Sprinkle with cinnamon, ginger and brown sugar.
Cook for 10mn and place the ham pricked with the cloves over the apple and cook for 15mn more.
This recipe can also be done in a closed casserole (glass or silicone rubber). In this case, pour the juice of a pressed orange in the casserole, put the raisins before the apple and cook at 180°C during 20mn and 20mn more with the ham. Beware, cooking times may depend on casserole material.
